London Tech Week 2026 brought global technology leaders, startups, investors, enterprise teams, policymakers, and innovators together around AI, emerging technology, and business growth. The main event took place at Olympia London from June 8–10, 2026.
Attendees needed to move between expo areas, stages, exhibitor spaces, partner zones, and networking areas. Delivered through ExpoFP partner Swapcard, the interactive floor plan provided one branded, searchable map for navigating the event.
The challenge: making a major technology event easier to explore
London Tech Week combined exhibition areas, stages, startup activity, networking, sponsor and partner spaces, and many attendee touchpoints at Olympia London. Users needed a clear way to find where to go and what to discover.
A static venue plan would show the layout but not provide the same searchable experience. The organizer needed a scalable digital map supporting navigation, exhibitor discovery, and partner visibility.
ExpoFP analytics also needed to show whether the map became an active part of the attendee journey.
For a high-traffic technology event, better navigation means more time discovering companies, content, and opportunities.
What the organizer wanted to achieve
The project had four clear goals:
- Launch a branded interactive floor plan for London Tech Week 2026.
- Make exhibitors, stages, partner areas, and key locations easier to find.
- Integrate the map into the Swapcard attendee experience.
- Measure floor plan engagement through ExpoFP analytics.
The map supported more than movement: it helped attendees find relevant companies, content, partners, and spaces while giving the event team measurable engagement data.
