Australian Native Food Festival 2026® in Carriageworks® is back, inviting you to be part of a movement that honours, educates and shares the oldest cuisine on earth. Curated by Sharon Winsor, proud Weilwan woman from North West NSW and founder of Indigiearth, the festival is dedicated to recognising Indigenous culture, knowledge, and culinary excellence while celebrating the rich heritage of native ingredients.

Getting there / Parking / Directions / Transportation

By Train: Walk eight minutes from Redfern Station, ten minutes from Macdonaldtown Station or 15 minutes from Newtown Station.

By Bus: Bus routes 422, 423, 426, 428, 370, 352 stop on City Road at Sydney University, a five minute walk from Carriageworks.

By Car: Limited on-site parking is available at the end of Carriageworks Way. Enter via 229 Wilson Street. Additional parking may be available at South Eveleigh, 2 Central Avenue, a 15-minute walk to Carriageworks via the Redfern footbridge and Little Eveleigh Street: South Eveleigh parking info.

By Bike: There are bike lanes on nearby streets and bike racks on Wilson Street at the top of the stairs, near the main entrance.

By Taxi/Rideshare: Taxis and rideshare services can enter at 229 Wilson Street for level access entry.
