Getting there / Parking / Directions / Transportation

By Train: South Brisbane Railway Station adjacent to the Convention Centre on Grey Street, or South Bank Railway Station, are the most convenient stations. The AirTrain connects South Brisbane station to Brisbane's international and domestic airports: airtrain.com.au.

By Bus: Cultural Centre Station on Melbourne Street and South Bank Busway Station (cnr Colchester and Tribune Streets) are closest to BCEC. Free Route 86 loop bus travels through West End, South Brisbane and South Bank precinct every 10-15 minutes, seven days per week: Route 86 timetable.

By Ferry: CityCats operate every day and stop at the South Bank River Terminal on the Clem Jones Promenade. Inner-city ferry travels between the CBD, North Quay and Kangaroo Point, stopping at South Bank Terminal 1 and 2.

By Car: Undercover parking for up to 1,500 vehicles with direct lift access. Car parks are cashless (credit/debit card only). Rates from $10/hr up to $35/day max. EV charging available. Parking info.

By Taxi: Taxi ranks located outside the main entrance on Merivale Street and taxi drop off at the Grey Street entrance.

By Walking: BCEC is a short stroll from Brisbane CBD across Victoria Bridge. Hotels, restaurants, South Bank beach and parklands are all within walking distance.
