PayPal PayFlow Pro
As of September 15, we are discontinuing support for the PayPal Payflow payment gateway as the method has become outdated. We suggest using PayPal payment buttons instead (more details here). |
PayPal Payflow Pro is a "secure, open payment gateway used to process debit and credit card payments, PayPal and PayPal credit payments, authorizations, captures, credits, and voids." You can find a full tutorial on their official site.
You will need to create a dedicated user to process PayPal PayFlow Pro payments.
First, log in to https://manager.paypal.com.
Navigate to Account Administration - Add User.
Enter contact name, email, user login name and password to add a new user. Make sure that the user role is specified as API_FULL_TRANSACTIONS.
On the ExpoFP back end, go to Settings - Payment gateway and insert your user credentials:
- For Vendor/Merchant ID, enter your Master Account ID
- For User, enter your Secondary User ID
- For Password, enter your Secondary User Password
PayPal recommends that you create a secondary user in PayPal Manager for integration purposes. However, you can use only master account credentials if you prefer. To do so, skip the User field and enter your Master Account ID and Master Account Password instead.
Don’t forget to click the Test button to verify the flow.
